I admire your proportions on the human body, and how you don't make it seem like women's figures must be exaggerated to make one beautiful in this drawing. The wind is blowing left and downward, or is it wind? It seems as if her breath should be flowing with it... This is much better than a lot of mod's choices.

Actually I love most of your stuff, but I have this habit of not commenting till I..I dunno..break the seal I guess and make that first comment then I sort of go comment crazy. Anyhow, you've got a really amazing knack for those negative spaces, I'm not sure if you do them with an eraser or what, but they're really nice, I've noticed and been impressed all over your gallery with it, like the snow and her breath. Also very nice texture work on the staff and bird and her furry cloak..overall really nice!

And hat is a big bird! | |

| 4 May 2006 | Yaza the Strange | Loading...Again, beautiful detail and form--I'm hopelessly impressed but one tiny detail... have YOU ever tried to hold a bird that size on your arm? *grins* it's possible i suppose, but would she really be that casual? Otherwise, it's fantastic work--love her staff and the way you've used the eraser technique to created the effect of wind. Beautiful! | |

| 24 Jan 2009 | Vic | Loading...I like the detail and the over all subject but a woman would not have a sword of that length. It would be too heavy and less then ideal for her to use; they were used by tall men with strong arms that made light work of it. | |
